Digital designer Adam Mayer created paper business cards with working gears. In the video, Mayer presents two prototypes. I love the first design: it has an interactive element that requires the recipient to turn the gears in order to see the contact information. It reminds me of the pop-up books I had as a kid where you could move the pieces and help tell the story.

I think a design like this could only really work for an independent firm or for someone in the design industry, but it is very cool regardless.
