Author Jackson Pearce is a great example of someone who took video blogging and turned it into an amazingly useful and entertaining medium. Anyone and everyone can sign up for a YouTube account and post thier own videos, but like Joy Nash, Ms. Pearce is a stand-out.
Ms. Pearce is a YA and MG author based in Atlanta (yay!) who has completely embraced the Internet as a powerful communication tool. She regularly updates her website blog and vlog.
In this video, Pearce compares book revision to baking a cake...backwards. She is so creative and funny that even if you aren't an aspiring author, the video is well worth the watch.
I would love to see more of this kind of thing from other authors and professionals. I love how well Ms. Pearce connects with viewers--she is so natural in the video, and at the same time she is sharing useful information. If you know of any more talented vloggers, let me know!
