Walk for Change and Dormet Outsourced, again!

I promise I will have a real Dormet entry for you soon. In the meantime, my fellow BU blogger Corinne has posted a fantastic recipe for Raspberry Angel Food Cake Cupcakes here. Go forth and bake, and if you are in the Boston area, share the resulting deliciousness with me!

The Walk for Change was absolutely amazing. I met up with my girls and we wore our Lotus Elephant T-Shirts. It was a little cold and misty, but we kept warm by moving. I was very impressed (and heart-warmed) by the amount of people who showed up. There were a lot of families, and a lot of dogs, too. I wanted to take all the puppies home with me. :) We looped around the Charles River a few times before enjoying a concert, raffle prizes and a moon bounce. The girls and I were nearly brought to tears by the T-Shirts from a local Take Back the Night event. It was a very good experience, and I hope to participate in the Atlanta events next year.

Walk for Change

I try to pick my causes carefully. As a student, I don't have much to give. As a professional, I must be mindful in what I say. But the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center's Walk for Change is an event that I fully and whole heartily support.

I will be walking this year, and I would love your support as well. I will be there with dozens of amazing men and women, and I am very much looking forward to it. You can find out more by visiting the BARCC website or visiting my fundraising page through the link below.
